Winnipeger dreams to be the next Filipino Music Superstar

Filipino-Canadian  24-year old Ildren Perez  earned a coveted spot to compete in the Star Makers International competition, a global search for exceptionally talented vocal artists and musical performers of Filipino heritage.
It is Ildren’s  first time entering  vocal competition and he is excited.   Igiven the opportunity to pursue singing career in the Philippines, he would be willing to return home, he says.

Ildren will compete with other aspring singers from  all parts of the world that include United States, Australia, New Zealand and Philppines.  Major cities in Canada including Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia  also have their hopefuls.    Ildren is not the only one from  Manitoba who joined the quest.  The winner is promised  a prize package that includes a co-management and talent development contract with ABS-CBN Music and a recording contract.  The Star Makers grand finals are slated to take place in Los Angeles, California in July 2024.

The third of four kids,  Ildren and his family moved to Canada in 2008. He is a graduate of Sisler High School and  took Civil Engineering Technology courses at the Red River College.   Ildren  loves to travel the world.
