Ne-yo fever hits Winnipeg

Three-time Grammy winner, Shaffer Chimere Smith, or otherwise known as Ne-Yo, took his  3,500 Winnipeg audience through his classic R&B music journey last  Feb 17, 2024 at the RBC Convention Centre.
The audience, a mix of Gen Zs, millenials and their Gen X parents screamed their hearts out – with some of them jumping in excitement as Ne-yo performs with a power cast of back-up dancers.
The 44-year old singer gained fame for his chart-topping songs and fo writing songs for other popular artists which includes Mario, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Whitney Houston, and Celine Dion, among others.
Billboard ranks Ne-yo as the 57th Artist of the 2000s decade.
“Ne-yo Live in Winnipeg” was presented by Pinoy Tribe Entertainment and  Ecko Entertainment Limited.  Event’s master of ceremonies were  Chester Pangan and Candace Ray.
