After months of COVID-19 closures, Winnipeg’s s Assiniboine Park Zoo opened to the public for the first time since closing in mid-November due to public-health orders.
Manitoba Public Health supported the reopening earlier this month, provided the zoo keeps its indoor exhibits closed and maintains a 25 per cent visitor capacity.
Still, at 25 per cent capacity the 32-hectare park can host up to 12-hundred-and-50 socially distanced people at a time.
