
Winnipeger Filipino-Canadian singer Maria Aragon will be joining the cast as vocalist of the world’s largest horse travelling show Cavalia Odysseo.
The show that has attracted more than 100,000 spectators will make a grand return to Winnipeg May 12, 2018 after its huge debut success in 2015.
Maria will be the first guest singer to ever be part of the multi-million equestrian- and acrobatic-arts show that features 70 horses and 50 artists.
The 17-year-old internet sensation who became famous when she did the 2011 cover of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way has performed for a number of high-profile engagements andhas also appeared in several shows and made musical recordings.
The show takes place at Cavalia’s large White Big Top near the corner of Sterling Lyon Parkway and Kenaston Boulevard. The tent stands 38 metres tall and can accommodate bleachers with 2,000 seats and a stage that is 1,626 square-metres in size.
Since its premier in 2011 the show has toured many cities across North America. Slated to begin in Winnipeg May 12 and runs through June 10, tickets range from $47 to
$125.50, plus fees. VIP packages are also available.
