“Home Alone” is 30 years old and is celebrated with a giant gingerbread

A British cake artist was commissioned by Disney Plus to make a giant replica of the house used in the film “Home Alone” marking its 30th anniversary.

The hit holiday movie centered on Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Culkin ) who was left alone in the house and warded off the criminal duo known as the Wet Bandits who tried to enter their home.

It took Michelle Wibowo of  Michelle Sugar Art some 300 hours to design the entire display measuring 1.25 meters wide (more than 4 feet) by 1.7 meters long (almost 5.6 feet). The house includes 63 trees, 33 windows, 6 lampposts, 14 pizza boxes and tons of other landscaping and architectural touches completing the McCallister family home. There’s also a mini cookie of Kevin falling off his sled

The Home Alone gingerbread house is on display at the Oak Centre for Children and Young People at The Royal Marsden in Surrey, England for the holidays.

Home Alone is now streaming on Disney Plus.
