Comedian Ellen De Generes returned to hosting for the 2021 first episode of her talk show Wednesday — a month after production was paused after she was tested positive for coronavirus.
Ellen said she first learned of her diagnosis just as she was preparing to tape an episode of her long-running show last December. She did not know where she got the virus as she was strictly washing her hands and wearing mask.
She said she had no headache or fever and did not lose appetite but felt she had cracked rib as the only symptom.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show had been producing without studio audience and had mix of virtual and in-person celebrity guests since September.
