Seventeen year-old Winnipeger Katrina Czarina (KC) Salazar was crowned 2024 Miss Teen Canada Galaxy at the recently concluded Canada Galaxy Pageants held from October 12-14, 2023.
KC will represent Canada to the Miss Teen Division of the Galaxy International pageants to be held August 12-19, 2024 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Also representing Canada in Little Miss category is Lesceia Fajardo who was crowned 2024 Little Miss Galaxy Canada.
KC also received other special awards which include Best in Fashion Wear, Best in Evening Gown, Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality while Lesceia got the Best in Interview, Best in Fashion Wear and Evening Gown awards.
KC and Lescea both got the Miss Publicity title for most valid volunteering and appearances for Miss Teen and Miss Little Miss Galaxy Canada respectively.
Other Winnipegers Miss Pre-Teen Myrielle Althea Aco was hailed 2nd Runner up and received special award for Best in Evening Gown while Miss Pre-Teen Gimli Janiyah Estrella, the reigning Queen Bulilit of the Manitoba Street Festival 2023 was crowned 3rd Runner up and was chosen for Director’s award.
