Winnipeger Denisse Samaniego –crowned Miss Teenage Manitoba in 2016 – will represent Canada in the upcoming Miss Filipina International, a prestigious beauty pageant that aims to showcase the beauty, intelligence, and grace of Filipino women on a global scale.
A teacher by profession, Denisse is proud of her Filipno roots. She is an advocate for youth and mental health. A singer, dancer and theatre actress, she represented Manitoba in the Miss World Canada last year.
Forty Filipino women candidates from across the globe will compete for the Miss Filipina International 2023 crown representing various states across America and several countries that include the United Kingdom and the Philippines.
Coronation night takes place Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Beverly Hills, California in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the beauty pageant where biggest cash prizes in its history are promised.
