A candlelight vigil will take place Saturday to honour 19-year old John Lloyd Barrion, who was killed in a robbery at a beer vendor in Notre Dame Tuesday.
John Lloyd was an employee at the vendor. Reports say he complied with all demands, but was killed anyway.
No words yet how many suspects police are searching for or if any arrests have been made.
The teen recently graduated from Technical Vocational High School and was described as a hardworking young man with big dreams.
Community crime watch and patrol group 204 Neighbourhood Watch is helping organize the vigil Feb. 19, at 3 p.m. at 1400 Notre Dame Ave. where John Lloyd worked and where the crime happened. General public is welcome but attendees are required to put on mask.
A group of friends of John Lloyd set up a Gofundme page to raise funds to help the family cover the funeral expenses. If you are able to donate, click
