Nagmahal. nasaktan. Nag-concert.
From the moment Vice Ganda appeared on stage, the entire stadium exploded in excitement and laughters in the unprecedented version of “Pusuan mo si Vice Ganda” Concert in Winnipeg held at the RBC Convention Centre, May 8, 2018.
The Filipino TV host, comedian singer, actor dazzled in one of the most watched ever concert staged in the city with a sold-out crowd of four thousands. Show also featured comedians MC and Lassy and singer dancer Ronnie Alonte.
The “unkabogable star” had several moments with the crowd and made them giggle and laugh in tears with his brand of humor and impromtu stand-up lines.
The multi-generation of mostly Filipino audience who follow him in his TV noontime show applauded his spontaneity, sarcasm, good singing voice and ability to connect to the audience. Among the songs he performed with a live band were “Ngayon at Kailanman”, “Pare Mahal mo raw ako” and “Boom Panes”.
After the show, social media was flooded with selfies and personal stories of overwhelmed fans who were blown away by the comedian’s wit, charm and warmth.
Some lapses in physical and seat arrangement left a few fans unhappy though.
This is Vice’s second time in Winnipeg after more than a decade when he did a front act performance as newcomer artist.
“Pusuan mo si Vice Ganda sa Canada” in Winnipeg was a collaboration of work by many supporters and volunteers led by promoters Charmaine Hernandez and Maneet Jasaal in cooperation with Mabuhay TV.
