Oct 5 is World Teachers Day

Since 1994,  every October 5th,  Teachers’ Day  is celebrated  in different parts of the world.  It  commemorates organizations worldwide and  aims  to mobilize support for teachers.

According to UNESCIO,  World Teachers’ Day represents a significant token of the awareness, understanding and appreciation  for the vital contributions that teachers do.  Over 100 countries observe this special day.

These include celebrations to honor teachers in general or those who have made a special contribution to a particular community. The day may also be marked by conferences emphasizing the importance of teachers and learning, extra training sessions for teachers, recruitment drives for the teaching profession among university students or other suitably qualified professionals and events to increase the profile of teachers and the role they play in the media.
To all  teachers who contribute a lot in molding  young minds to prepare them to be responsible adults,  for all the knowledge shared, love and dedication—Thank you! Gracias! Merci! Grazie! Arigato!  jeh, daw-dyeh!  Danke sehr! Khop Khun Mak Kha! Salamat po!
