Too bad for fans who are waiting to see Justin Bieber, but the “Boyfriend” singer just canceled his “Purpose” world tour.
Bieber has still 14 shows remaining for his “Purpose” world tour. Unfortunately, the “Love Yourself” crooner has decided to cancel it due to “unforeseen events.”
On Monday, the singer gave a statement through his representative announcing his decision not to continue the tour, but did not specify exactly why he has canceled the rest of the tour dates. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose world tour concerts, according to his representatives.
The rep further explained that Bieber didn’t want to disappoint fans and that he wanted to perform, but he just couldn’t continue his world tour anymore. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase,” the statement continued.
An insider revealed that Bieber decided to stop the tour because he was already “exhausted.”
Bieber’s “Purpose” world tour started on March 9, 2016 and was set to wrap up in Asia (and a Philippines concert) in October.
