It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Experience the most festive , exciting and colorful Christmas Celebration through “Paskong Pinoy” (Filipino Christmas) in Manitoba for the very first time on December 17th, 2016 at RBC Convention Centre.
With Manitoba being home to 70,000 Filipinos, the event aims to bring the community together in a spirit of fellowship and goodwill. A great way to showcase the joyful holiday festivity and tradition to our non-Filipino friends!
Bring the whole family and tag along your non-Pinoy friends and enjoy the Christmas displays and exhibits, music, food, treats, shopping bazaar , raffle and prizes and full day entertainment featuring local talents and guest celebrities from your favorite GMA Kapuso Network.
The one day family-friendly event will have bouncy castles and face paint for kids, a photo booth. There will also be a holy mass and special participation of Santa Claus from the North Pole.
Patterned after the highly successful (Toronto Pasko event) which is now on its third year, Paskong Pinoy will surely bring the lovely feeling of home, precious sights, sounds and smells of Christmas in the Philippines — a true oasis of culture and nostalgia in the midst of winter.
Spearheaded by the Asian Community Guide, other highlights of the event include competition in parol (lantern) making, choral group singing, kids caroling, group dancing and cake decorating.
Paskong Pinoy invites individuals, families, and social and civic organizations to exhibit their creativity, talents and inspiration through the parol (lantern) making competition.
Grand prize winner will receive $500 and the top parol will be on display at the Mcphillips Nissan at 2150 McPhillips St. for public voting. To register and for more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
