COMMUNITY: Vickar and ANCOP Winnipeg build another housing project in the Phils

Philanthropists Larry and Tova Vickar of Winnipeg, Manitoba have been known  as one of  ANCOP (Answering Cry of the Poor) Canada’s leading donor as they consistently support  its  housing, scholarship and educational programs  in poor counries around the world.

Through ANCOP fundraising efforts,   the  building of houses was facilitated in many  villages in poor communities in the Philippines.

Larry and Toba’s  Vickar Automotive Group’s  involvement with ANCOP started as early as 2006.

This year,  ANCOP identified the  next housing project that they will be supporting.    The new site  located in Baliuag, Bulacan    has a land area of 11, 562 sq.m and will be accommodating 135 houses for prequalified families and community. It was  named Larry Tova Vickar-CFC ANCOP Winnipeg, Canada- Starville IV.

A groundbreaking ceremony was conducted last June 28 for the  Starville IV  which is  a   joint housing project of the Municipal Government of Baliuag and CFC ANCOP Winnipeg, Canada.

Members of the Sangguniang Barangay of Baliuag and its department heads joined the officials of CFC ANCOP and the AGT of Bulacan for the launch of the project.
