My family is a big fan of halloween. This is one Canada tradition that we have embraced. We love the dressing up part, aside from the trick or treating.
This year, we got a friendly sheriff in our household while a scarecrow got a day of freedom away from the field.
We were also visited by a mythical dragon and felt safe with the company of a cop and a superhero.
It was my sister Antonette who got the most attention as we went around scaring people.
And Guess what? Our “Babaeng Bungo” won the best costume in a local neighborhood costume party as a girl rising from the grave celebrating Day of the Dead. She was picked by the judges during the Tres Marias Halloween Zumba Party held at the Sinclair Community Centre.
It was a blast joining other inspiring Zumba lovers shake up and dress up.
Till next halloween!
